What are the best books for iit physics ,chemistry, mths at inter 1st year?

i want to buys some books like op tandon organic, physical, inorganic chemistry, tmh maths, physics hc verma dcpandey.so suggest me some booksWhat are the best books for iit physics ,chemistry, mths at inter 1st year?I would recommend "physics" by Resnick Halliday Krane for physics... It comes in two parts, for 11 and 12... Although some of the topics are not covered... so "fundamentals of physics" by Resnick Halliday Walker would cover the portion not covered in the previous book. But it is not as rigorous as "physics"

For maths, u should not stick to one book but follow a variety. I would suggest "plane trigonometry parts 1 and 2" by SL Loney for trigonometry, then Higher Algebra by Hall and Knight, Calculus by Thomas Finney and of course, for testing urself, IIT Mathematics by ML Khanna

I am really weak in chemistry, but I found "organic chemistry" by morrison and Boyd to be really helpful. It is not at all like other organic chemistry books and it focuses on principles and reaction mechanism, giving theoretical and experimental evidence to support the explanations. Plus, I have observed that the IIT question paper often steals questions from this book...

Most of my friends don't like the above books, but I find them appropriate... I have observed that many Indians don't like foreign author books, maybe because of poor english or because they don't want to delve too deeply on the topics... Its upto u to choose... These books are really costly, so it would be better if u tried them out by borrowing from the library 1st...What are the best books for iit physics ,chemistry, mths at inter 1st year?for the basic concepts and for the beginning, you can go for HC verma's concepts of physics and fundamentals of physics by resnick, halliday and walker. griffithis very good for electrodynamics part.

for physical chemistry, KL KAPOOR is good but a bit advanced so you can go for atkins. for organic, i found p y bruice really good but i heard boyd is also good though i never went through it. for inorganic, shriver and atkins is good. for maths algebra, hall and knight is a good one. for coordinate and trigonometry, SL LONEY is great one and for calculus, thomas and finney is good. also the books by RD SHARMA, provides a good start.

books by arihant and tata macgraw hill provides a good practice. What are the best books for iit physics ,chemistry, mths at inter 1st year? For physics ,the most important book is HC VERMA ,besides u can refer objective physics by dc pandey and erodo....

For chemistry, modern's ABC of Chemistry is a really good book for theory......for questions go for p.bahadur(balaji publications) and OP TANDON..

for maths ,good books are R.D. Sharma and VPM objective maths (vishal prakashan mandir)....

MAYBE THESE WOULD HELP!!!
