I'm a christian and my girlfriend is of no religion. She is a wonderful girl who is very positive and supportive of my faith. She is the best partner I've ever had - much more wonderful than even christian girls i've dated. Despite this, she simply does not share my faith. I would like to hear from other people who have had similar experience, How was it? what issues did you face? has it worked out or was the gap too much....???Have you had experience in an inter-faith (christian/non-christian) relationship? I dated a Catholic. She twisted her religion to try fit with a normal life (just like you're doing now- don't you know the bible says you shouldn't eat at a table of infidels, and that refusing to eschew a girlfriend because of your weak lustful urges is adultery?). There were no issues as I wasn't opinionated then, but probably would be now as I wouldn't want my future kids to be indoctrinated to transcendental fascism and a wedding run by a magical-man who drinks magical hemoglobin each Sunday, which I'm sure she wouldn't appreciate. I had a simliar situation with girls of other religions too. No wonder I got along with them all; I had no thoughts or opinions in those days, a trait religions praise so dearly.Have you had experience in an inter-faith (christian/non-christian) relationship? How was it?Well Im in that sorta relationship right now. But Im the no religion one. I do believe in God but I dont go to any church. It can be very difficult. U will face many disscusion on what should be done on certain holidays or events. In the end if u really love each other u will work it out. It will take ALOT of comprimising. But u have to fully realize how the other person may not ever believe the way u do, n in most religions, that means the go to hell, or whatever else place is the bad one. It is very difficult.



I have recently turned back to God and His Son Jesus and even when I denied them I still believed that if you accepted the Christian God, then you must accept his Bible.



My wife says she believes in God but calls the Bible a book of fairy tales. This is very difficult to deal with, and many of the things we used to accept as a part of our lifestyle are no longer things I accept as being right.

We divorced because of domestic violence.
No issues really, we just don't bring it up. You just have to have mutual respect for each other's beliefs.
