Do you think it'd be harder to adopt out a inter-racial baby?

I'm just wondering.



Say, you have a half white, half asian baby. Pretty uncommon right?

Will it be harder find a couple that would take in the baby because of his/her race?Do you think it'd be harder to adopt out a inter-racial baby?No I don't think it would be harder to find a couple wanting a baby of any ethnicity at all. The way adoption is these days - there is pretty much a waiting list for ANY healthy infant, so it's a matter of longer vs shorter waiting lists...but the fact remains there are people right now waiting to adopt any baby that becomes available.



I am not sure half white half Asian is uncommon, at least not where I am from. Perhaps your location makes you think so...but there are many places where it is not. So if you are worried about a baby feeling out of place or not "fitting in" I can tell you off hand i know a lot of couples where one is white %26amp; the other is Asian. it depends...and if someone doesnt want your baby because its not "pure" you wouldnt wnat them to adopt your child anyway
