Do you think it'd be harder to adopt out a inter-racial baby?

I'm just wondering.

Say, you have a half white, half asian baby. Pretty uncommon right?

Will it be harder find a couple that would take in the baby because of his/her race?Do you think it'd be harder to adopt out a inter-racial baby?No I don't think it would be harder to find a couple wanting a baby of any ethnicity at all. The way adoption is these days - there is pretty much a waiting list for ANY healthy infant, so it's a matter of longer vs shorter waiting lists...but the fact remains there are people right now waiting to adopt any baby that becomes available.

I am not sure half white half Asian is uncommon, at least not where I am from. Perhaps your location makes you think so...but there are many places where it is not. So if you are worried about a baby feeling out of place or not "fitting in" I can tell you off hand i know a lot of couples where one is white %26amp; the other is Asian. I am sure there are couple that meet that exact description waiting to adopt right now.Do you think it'd be harder to adopt out a inter-racial baby?probably not. babies are harder to come by when adopting domestically. alot of couples just want to have a child.Do you think it'd be harder to adopt out a inter-racial baby? No, theres people who want a child so badly they dont care about race. Yeah some people might want a baby who has the same race as them so they fit into the family more and its not obvious that theyre adopted but theres also people that dont mind and will accept all races.Do you think it'd be harder to adopt out a inter-racial baby?
it depends...and if someone doesnt want your baby because its not "pure" you wouldnt wnat them to adopt your child anyway
