The very fact that your parents have let you have a computer shows that they trust you to use it wisely. Yes? So, to reciprocate, you must trust them by telling them you have posted your question on here.
Whilst I certainly have absolutely no wish to rain on your parade, I would urge you to be careful. As out good friends the Masons say, "proceed with caution". Why? Because, Sharon, whilst there are some very genuine people out in cyberspace, there are also some who are neither genuine nor honourable in their intentions.
I am sure you will meet some very nice people on here, but please always remember that you must never, ever divulge personal information - ever!
