Can a subordinate give inter office memo to General Manager?

Most GMs have some sort of "Open Door" policy where you can contact them. Either via email or by submitting questions to them at specific times during the year.

The more important question here is what do you want to get out of the memo? Your GM most likely does not involve him/herself in the day to day decisions that impact you. You might be better off going to the head of HR, Quality or Operations depending on your issue. They would have a more vested interest in the types of improvements or problems you may be having. Can a subordinate give inter office memo to General Manager?why not?Can a subordinate give inter office memo to General Manager?Probably not!

There is usually a 鈥榗hain of command鈥? This chain is used as much to hide the incompetence of middle and higher management as it is to save the CEO from time consuming busy work. It is the hiding of goofs by middle and higher management that is the bottle neck you will face.

It would doubtless be a good idea if the CEO took an occasional walk through the peasant class section of any business.

Jim DCan a subordinate give inter office memo to General Manager? Why not? Your ALL just employees after all!
