IS it possible is inter change camera lens between makes of camera?

I have a minolta DSLR and want to know if it is possible to put the Lens I have on a canon DSLR . I am not sure if it is possible to get anything that will go between the lens and the camera body. LIke a converter or something.

cheersIS it possible is inter change camera lens between makes of camera? No, you can't do that. Canon and Minolta are completely different systems. You may be able to stick Minolta lens on a Sony DSLR, as Sony acquired Minolta technology as it pulled out of the camera business. So their mounts are the same. But in general, with exception like this different brands are not compatible. There are third party lens makers that make versions of their lenses for different brand mounts, like Sigma or Tamron. But even then a Sigma lens made for Canon mount won't go on Nikon, etc.

LEM.IS it possible is inter change camera lens between makes of camera? As LEM said, each system is unique.

If you have a bunch of Minolta auto-focus lenses, you can buy any of the Sony DSLR's ... call the Sony help line to make sure your lenses will work. 800.222.SONY
